Our priority is putting the safety of both our inspectors and our customers at the forefront of everything we do.

Following the Prime Minister and First Minister's announcements on Monday the 4th of January implementing national lockdowns across England, Wales and Scotland; we've reviewed our operations and set out some guidelines that need to be met in order to carry out your inspection.

We understand that this might present frustrations and inconveniences for some of our customers, particularly those with young children. The guidelines are as follows:

• For houses: we are requesting that there be a maximum of one other person in the property (in addition to the inspector) and they must be wearing a mask at all times covering their mouth and nose whenever they’re in contact with the inspector. As much as possible - the person must be on a different floor to the inspector aside from when granting access.
• For apartments: we are requesting no other people be present in the property at the same time as an inspector.
• No tradesman or workman should be at the property at any point throughout the inspection.
